Can You Help Us Out?

Can You Help Us Out?

Concord Comets Baseball Club is a local community baseball club operating out of Majors Bay Reserve, Concord West. It is run by parents to provide kids in our local area with the opportunity to play baseball. We have a proud history in grass roots sport. We put player participation first and work hard at not only developing the skills of our players, but also instilling the values of teamwork and good sportsmanship.

Volunteers, hands in the air!

Volunteers are the backbone of our club. Without the assistance of our managers, coaches, scorers and parent umpires our games simply would not run. But we still need more help! Concord Comets will soon be opening registrations for the 2015-2016 summer baseball season and we would like to boost our junior numbers. A key part of our recruitment drive are our ‘Try Baseball’ fun days where we show off  our sport in a carnival atmosphere. Two of these Try Baseball days are scheduled for Sunday 19 July and Saturday 25 July. We are calling on our parents, players and other members of the Comets family to help.

What can you do to help us?

There are numerous ways in which you can help.

  • Handing out flyers
  • Visiting local schools
  • Running a barbeque
  • Helping out at a stall
  • Organising equipment
  • Supervising games
  • Lending a hand at the uniform shop
  • Helping us maintain our fields
If you don't like what you see volunteer

Don’t have much time?

We realise that many parents lead busy lives, so we are very flexible. Any time you can give us will be greatly appreciated.

What now?

We are putting together a team of volunteers to help us. So if you can lend us a hand please respond by emailing us at concordbaseball.juniors@gmail.com or by contacting Gavin on 0425233551

Please remember that volunteering is not only important for the successful running of our club, but also rewarding in its own right.

Concord Comets Junior Coordinator.
